Overview

Penex, Incorporated operated as a Wholesale corporation with multiple locations. Clients included Disney Studios, Universal Studios, UCLA and Edwards Air Force Base.

Measurable Results

Our team executed a Strategic, Financial and Tax Plan for the purchase of the company and then again for the sale of the company.
When the corporation was sold our client was able to obtain 7 times the multiple of the original purchase. The client was taken from purchase, through due diligence to sale.

ROCKET XL, Inc.

Digital Advertising Agency

Overview

Rocket XL operated as a full services digital advertising agency with offices in LA, NYC and Toronto. Clients included Unilever, Kraft and PepsiCo.

Measurable Results

Our team executed a Strategic, Financial and Tax Plan for the launch of the company and then again for the sale of the company.

When the corporation was sold our client was able to obtain both a stock purchase and an earnout package. The client was taken from start up, through due diligence to sale.

Through his CPA practice and greater than 20 years of experience, Mr. Lawler has advised well over 250 business entities and helped over one thousand individuals in strategic, financial, and tax planning.

Mr. Lawler is admitted and licensed to practice as an Attorney in Washington, D.C. and the United States Tax Court, has received a Certificate in mediation, and is also a Certified Public Accountant.

His expertise includes: strategic, financial and tax planning, as well as assisting clients in minimizing legitimate tax liabilities. He solves complex financial problems that lie at the intersection of finance, tax, and business.

His clients include high net worth individuals, entertainment, technology, professional services, retail, wholesale, and real estate companies, from start-ups to large companies. Mrs. Orly Lawler is an Attorney and is licensed to practice in the Central, Eastern, Southern, and Northern Districts of California. Furthermore, she is admitted to practice in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in California.

Mrs. Lawler has appeared on the KTLA Channel 5 Morning News. She also serves as a legal commentator for the LawNewz network and provides input on high profile cases.

On her free time, Mrs. Lawler serves a guest lecturer at the UWLA Law School teaching students about the appellate process.

In 2008, Mrs. Lawler graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from California State University, Northridge. She then received a Juris Doctor in 2011 from the California Western School of Law. While attending law school, Mrs. Lawler served as an intern for the California Innocence Project, aiding the wrongfully convicted.

Mrs. Lawler also volunteered as a legal clerk for the National Science Foundation in Washington D.C. where she assisted federal agents with investigating medical universities who were misappropriating government funds. These events built the foundation that shaped her successful career today.

Fluent in Hebrew, Farsi, and Spanish, Mrs. Lawler assists people from all walks of life. Weighing their needs against the legal remedies available, she is able to construct an argument that targets a favorable outcome.

Candace Verdugo is a Certified Public Accountant and has extensive background in providing financial services including Audits, Reviews, and Compiled financial statements for manufacturing, wholesale and retail companies. Candace is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the California Society of Public Accountants and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Candace is also a QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from California State University.

Kiran Prema

CPA

Kiran Prema is a Certified Public Accountant and has over 15 years of experience in the Accounting Industry including previous roles as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Financial Reporting Manager at McDonald’s Global Headquarters. Kiran is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the California Society of Public Accountants and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Kiran is also an Advanced Certified Quickbooks Online ProAdvisor. Kiran earned her Business Degree from the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance.
